Robertson Bell are working on behalf of The King’s Trust to recruitto a Treasury Manager position on a permanent basis. The role of the TreasuryAccountant is to ensure the effective management of the Trust'scash and investments and timely and accurate maintenance of theledger. The role is expected to ensure that the treasuryreconciliations are updated on a regular basis, manage the issue andgovernance of cash and procurement cards and assist the Head ofFinancial Operations in the stewardship of our cash and investmentbalances.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the management, monitoring, and reporting of theTrust’s financial instruments, driving optimal performance andsecurity.
* Act as the key liaison for internal stakeholdersand Banking institutions, expertly managing transfers, investments,credit facilities, and account structures.
* Maintain andimprove the bank mandates and user access framework, ensuringcompliance and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the financegovernance team to strengthen fraud prevention and monetary riskcontrols.
* Record and manage treasury transactions in theledgers, upholding the highest standards of financial accuracy.
* Lead the monthly reconciliation of treasury codes, swiftlyresolving issues and mitigating risks to maintain financial stability.
* Manage month-end treasury operations, delivering insightfulreports that guide strategic decision-making.
* Providein-depth working capital analysis, enabling senior stakeholders tooptimise cash planning and maximise fund returns.
* Develop anddeliver comprehensive cashflow reports and forecasts for Trustees andother key stakeholders.
* Partner with the Transactions Managerto enforce robust financial controls and oversee effective cashmanagement training to enhance the organisation's control culture.
The successful candidate will:
* Be a qualified Accountant, part-qualified or qualified byexperience.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communicationskills in order to effectively produce information for financialstakeholders across the Trust.
* Be an experienced treasury andaccounting professional who can confidently monitor cashflow, lead inliquidity reporting and forecasting, and manage working capital andanalysis.
* Have experience working with banks, bank accounts,purchase ledger and procurement teams to promote effective and strongrelationships.
The successful candidate will be based intheir Birmingham office, requiring you to go into the office threedays per week. You will also benefit from a fantastic holiday package,including 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and closure overChristmas and New Year.
