About the Business\n\nAn opportunity to be an Assistant Management Accountant, for a large services provider business based in Birmingham. It is an amazing opportunity for a determined individual to thrive within a rapidly growing business with a great reputation.\n\nMain Duties:\n\nAs an Assistant Management Accountant, your main duties include:\n\n * Working closely with the Finance Manager, Management Accounts team and Purchase Ledger team to ensure accurate month end preparation and reporting of the monthly Management Accountants\n\n * Accruals & Prepayments\n\n * Revenue accruals & deferrals\n\n * Variance analysis with commentary\n\n * Matching costs to revenue to ensure accurate reporting\n\n * Investigation and commentary on variances to budget\n\n * Balance sheet reconciliations\n\n * Other ad-hoc duties\n\nLocation / Office / Culture\n\nThe role is flexible and offers hybrid working with only 2 days in the Birmingham Office and 3 days at home. The company operate from a modern office with a strong Finance Team of 60.
