We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The Role As a Transport Clerk, you will be responsible for co-ordinating deliveries and liaising with drivers to ensure smooth and efficient transport operations. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing order processing with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and clients. Your role will be essential in maintaining a seamless and professional transport service that meets the highest standards. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes. Additionally, you will: - Ensure effective communication within the business and with customers - Identify and recommend resolutions to customer issues or failures - Communicate any variances to instructions or operational concerns to your line manager - Ensure adherence to Health and Safety procedures, including PPE compliance About You To be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need: - Previous experience in a similar role - The proven ability to interface with customers professionally - Confidence in supervising drivers - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint The closing date for this role is 18th March 2025.
