We are therefore looking to maximise opportunities for biodiversity net gain and nature recovery and this would be an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact and ensure these ambitious targets are fulfilled.About youThe Council is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced qualified ecologist to join the Development Management service’s specialist environmental team, to help safeguard, promote and enhance the rich biodiversity interests of the district.You will be the lead officer in biodiversity within the service, providing ecological advice on Development Management issues like planning applications, Biodiversity Net Gain and Habitats Regulations.You will have a good knowledge of the planning syst...
