Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Deliver accurate financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to senior management.
* Establish, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP, as well as other regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.
* Lead and mentor a small finance team, providing guidance and support in daily activities.
* Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and development.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to inform business strategies.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar role.
* Proven experience with US GAAP and knowledge of IFRS standards.
* Strong track record in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to work on-site in Burton on Trent three days per week.
