Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Wirral Council, Children’s Permanence & Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• work with child, young people and their families from the initial assessment, through to determining a long term plan, offering stability to the case and consistency throughout

• Our Permanance Service, is making excellent progress on its journey to improve the lives of vulnerable children and young people across the Borough. Keeping children safe, protected and supported continues to be central to everything we do. We offer a fair and manageable case load across all teams, an agile working kit, allowing you to work flexibly and remotely and we also offer agency staff the opportunity to access training just like permanent staff

• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
