You will have the chance to work with students across primary, secondary, and post-16 levels, each with their own unique needs, in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will assist in providing tailored care and support to students with diverse needs, working closely with the school's teachers and staff to ensure individualised care and promote students' social, cognitive, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing Sensory Awareness and Motor Skills: Support students by helping to enhance their sensory awareness and refine their motor skills through engaging activities and exercises.
- Providing Individualised Care: Deliver personalised support based on care plans, ensuring students' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Supporting Communication Development: Assist in teaching vocabulary and supporting speech and language development, helping students communicate more effectively.
- Facilitating Creative Lessons: Support students' growth through creative lessons, including art, cooking, music, and dance, promoting overall development.
- Supporting Social and Cognitive Growth: Offer one-to-one support and group activities to foster social and cognitive growth, helping students build independence and confidence.
Key Details:
- Full-Time Position: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Contract: One-year contract with the possibility of extension
- One-to-One Support: Provide personalised support for students with diverse needs

The position is temporary, with the potential for it to become permanent in the future. Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
