Reaseheath College is offering a fantastic career opportunity to advance from HR Advisor to HR Business Partner, including financial support for your Level 7 CIPD qualification.
We are keen to invest in future HR professionals and are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a desire to progress to HR Business Partner within 3 years. The College will provide financial support to cover the cost of the Level 7 qualification as part of a three-year career plan. You will complete two years of study and a final year of consolidation before gaining the position of HR Business Partner. The College will ensure you have the necessary exposure and opportunities to gain your qualification and expand your generalist HR skills. This is an ambitious career plan requiring dedication and passion for HR, along with the willingness to study alongside a full-time role.
The successful candidate will join our busy and thriving college, which employs over 600 staff.
The HR and Payroll team adopts a collaborative approach to work and embodies the College’s PRIDE values: people, responsibility, integrity, diversity, excellence.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a problem solver, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders quickly. You should have some HR experience, be a member of the CIPD, and qualified to Level 5 or equivalent. A high level of IT skills and proficiency with HR software packages are essential.
As HR Advisor, you will provide generalist HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff, including recruitment, absence management, employment conditions, policies, legislation, and best practices. You will work closely with the Payroll Team, responsible for preparing and verifying monthly HR data for payroll. You will report to the HR Manager, who will coach you in this role.
You will also collaborate with the Learning and Development Business Partner and Diversity and Inclusion Manager to support learning, development, and EDI initiatives at the college.
Experience in the Education sector and knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding for young people are desirable.
