Job Purpose:
To provide the highest level of VIP customer service to passengers, crews and guests at all times. To manage the Operations Department, delivering all associated services; ensuring all services are provided to our customers in a safe and professional manner. On time performance and safety is the team’s number one priority.
Main Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will proactively deliver strong leadership to the Operations department, ensuring accountability amongst all team members, driving employee engagement initiatives and individual empowerment, with a strong focus on improvement. You will ensure all staff are compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Signatures Business Code of Ethics and Health and Safety legislation in line with business requirements.
The role involves effective liaison with team members within the Finance department to track control of cash flow through weekly monitoring of debtors. You will drive regular interaction with customers and external service suppliers to obtain feedback with the purpose of continually improving and raising the standards of service to exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with the Area General Manager on all aspects of operational development.
About You:
* Previous experience of working within an aviation Operations team is essential.
* Excellent customer service skills, a high attention to detail and a results orientated focus.
* Previous management experience including all aspects of line management including recruitment, employee relations, performance improvement/capability and absence management is highly desirable.
* Demonstrable leadership skills including making difficult decisions, driving performance and dealing with all manner of staffing and operational challenges are highly desirable.
* The ability to challenge the status quo with a view to continually evolving to better ways of working.
* A full clean driving license.
* IT proficient and technically able.
* Flexibility and a willingness to perform reasonable tasks as assigned as such covering shifts which may involve working different hours.
* The flexibility to travel both in the UK and occasionally internationally would be highly advantageous.
