About the School Rattray Primary School is a thriving school located in the picturesque twin burgh of Blairgowrie and Rattray. Rattray Primary School is situated on the northeast side of the River Ericht, on the A926 (Rattray to Forfar Road). Our school is 16 miles from Perth and 19 miles from Dundee. Our school has a roll of 228 spilt into ten classes and our Early Childhood Centre has a roll of 72 pupils. The Individual You will ideally have knowledge and experience of working with learners with a range of academic skills and additional support needs, and be interested in pursuing a career working in an educational environment. You will be motivated and interested in child development and keen to support learners reach their full potential. Knowledge of a wide range of learning needs and how to foster positive relationships would be an advantage. You will understand the need for confidentiality and be able to work sensitively to support learners and their families. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively within a team and on your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to working with children. You will have a Professional Teaching Qualification and be GTCS registered.
