A coeducational secondary school in Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from half term. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and high-quality Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring progress for all learners. Inspire creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on practical projects. Maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Support students of all abilities, providing differentiation to cater to individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices. Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities related to the subject. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject specialism. Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
