Role Description
This is an exciting and valuable full-time role for a team manager within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid role located in Huddersfield for a suitably qualified clinician working as a team lead within the Evolve Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults and children referred for Autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and their GP.
Main Responsibilities
* Management of the multidisciplinary team
* Point of contact for all matters related to the day-to-day running of the local service
* Familiarity with all resources (e.g., questionnaires) and components (e.g., cognitive assessment) that support the assessment process
* Monitoring contract mobilisation and service delivery
* Oversight locally of company strategy
* Monitoring of contract and local KPIs
* Clinical governance
* Clinical overview of all current assessment cases in the clinic
* Problem-solving issues in the clinic
* Supporting newer members of the team
* Identifying issues in clinic processes for improvement
* Escalating issues and working with senior leadership to resolve
* Attending company events and management meetings
* Identifying training needs for teams and individuals
Qualifications
* HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Neurodevelopmental practitioner experience with specialist training
* Must be eligible to work in the UK
* Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/Specialist developmental assessments with children and/or adults
* Experience working with children and/or adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
* Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism and ADHD
* Knowledge of differential diagnosis
* ADOS-2/ADI-R trained
* Ideally QB Trained
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience of team and service management
