Are you a passionate about Quality Improvement (QI)?
We have an exciting opportunity for an Improvement advisor to join our team! You will help staff, patients and carers to lead, coproduce and design work focused on testing, measuring and improving processes, outcomes and the experience of care that we deliver. The successful candidate will help with teaching, coaching and facilitating QI and will be an improvement advisor in the QI team. If this sounds like you then please do apply! Main duties of the job
The post holder will achieve this by:
Working alongside multidisciplinary staff, service users, relatives, carers and other stakeholders to develop and embed quality improvement and best practice across NELFT.
· Facilitating, co-ordinating and implementing the delivery of quality improvement education, learning and development programmes across the Trust and externally to a multidisciplinary audience.
· Provision of QI mentoring for NELFT staff, service users/ carers and external bodies.
· Provision of support for external QI presentations and publications.
· Assisting in the delivery of the NELFT QI Strategy and leading on nominated work streams.
· Ensuring the voice of service users and carers is always considered and represented in QI
· Ensuring Health Equity is always considered in QI
· Deputising for the Senior Improvement Advisor or Director of QI as appropriate.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436).
