We are looking for a Air Source Heat Pump Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Air Source Heat Pump Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Air Source Heat Pump Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Implementing planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
* You will ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, codes of practice, and statutory regulations, including the Permit to Work Systems.
* As a trainer and mentor to prisoner working groups, you will complete Planned Preventive Maintenance and Helpdesk tasks, maintaining SHE standards.
* You will liaise with engineers and subcontractors, proactively addressing client concerns and relaying them to management as needed.
* You will develop a detailed understanding of site engineering services and contractual requirements.
* Enforce business risk management procedures, and participate in duty standby/call-out rosters and emergency response teams.
* Supporting best working practices, you will complete work-related documentation accurately and on time, troubleshoot site issues, and recommend remedial actions.
* You will coordinate connections to existing plant/systems and maintain O&M Manuals and quality procedures.
* Availability for scheduled and unplanned weekend work is required.
* You will support FM Team Leaders in achieving site objectives.
To be successful for this Air Source Heat Pump Engineer role you must have:
* The ideal candidate should possess basic to intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with some experience in updating central data systems.
* Excellent communication skills are essential.
* The candidate should hold an IOSH or equivalent certification and have qualifications in HVAC, C&G/BTEC
* Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineering Parts 1, 2, and 3, as well as a C&G 2079 F Gas or equivalent certification.
* An apprenticeship or equivalent experience is required
