What you will do: - To supervise the professional work of nursing staff and exercise good leadership skills.- Support the team to monitor the quality of patient care and participate in the regular evaluation of patient satisfaction.- To act as a mentor, to new staff, learners and post-registration students.- To participate in the recruitment and selection of new staff.- Empower the team to highlight areas for change and development. Lymington Eye outpatients is a dynamic department that continues to change & develop, this requiring the successful applicant to be flexible, forward thinking and have the skills to motivate and provide positive. The ability to supervise, teach, empower and coach staff is essential for this role. We are looking for experienced dedicated Nurse who are looking to further their management development and gain/develop leadership skills in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, professional, flexible, trustworthy and positive role model.
