It offers valuable experience and various apprenticeship routes are available to develop through to careers in our therapy professions. Our Therapy assistant staff are highly valued members of our team who help us to provide quality care for our patients. You will be required to work alongside qualified Therapists but also work independently managing your own patient caseload. You must have great communication and time management skills. Documentation is an integral part of the role and you will be expected to document within patients' records. Computer skills are essential as you will be accessing patient details. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand the patients' needs and motivate them throughout their journey is an essential part of this role. Main duties of the job To assess, plan and provide Therapy intervention for patients in an Orthopaedic in patient setting. To work within agreed guidelines, protocols/competencies To assist in the delivery and organisation of Therapy services within the specialty.
