Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Office-Based with Occasional Travel to Sites

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and control budgets for facade projects. Ensure cost-effective solutions are employed and financial objectives are met.
Tender Preparation: Manage the tender process for facade contracts, including preparation, submission, and negotiation of tenders.
Contract Administration: Oversee all aspects of contract management, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify measurements, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with facade works, ensuring project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Valuations and Payments: Prepare accurate valuations and manage the payment process for subcontractors and suppliers.
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on project progress, financial status, and forecasting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong focus on facades.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
Analytical Skills: Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies to overcome challenges.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners.
Additional Requirements:
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to various site locations as required.
License: Valid UK driving license.
