This is a full-time position with an ideal start date of January 2025, offering a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils and staff in a supportive environment. What you’ll do Provide tailored support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Foster an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere for all learners. Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver strategies that support pupil progress. Keep detailed records of progress and contribute to regular assessments and reports. Build strong relationships with parents/guardians, providing regular updates and addressing any queries. Liaise with professionals, including educational psychologists and speech therapists, to ensure the best support for pupils. About You We’re looking for someone who: Is a fluent Welsh speaker, with excellent written and spoken skills in both Welsh and English. Has experience supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN), particularly on a 1:1 basis. Understands diverse learning challenges and can implement effective strategies for student growth. Is skilled in building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Displays patience, empathy, and resilience, thriving in a role that requires compassion and adaptability. Excels in organisation, time management, and maintaining focus under pressure. Why Join Us?
