About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated individual to work on the front line, delivering vital services to families within
the prison system. This role focuses on supporting children and young people while also offering assistance with family-centered
services, including casework, welcoming visitors, providing refreshments, and facilitating family-focused group interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide advice, guidance, and support to prisoners and their families to foster strong, healthy relationships.
* Lead and oversee family play activities during visits, ensuring an enriching and inclusive experience for children of all ages.
* Plan and deliver child-focused activities such as baby groups, homework clubs, and Storytime sessions to nurture development
and family connections.
* Carry a caseload of family support work, conducting thorough assessments to guide interventions for children and families.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all.
