ADD TO LIFE. EVERY LIFE Where making a difference changes lives
Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work. If you're looking for a role where you can develop your existing nursing skills and learn something new every day in an environment that never stands still, then this could be the opportunity for you.
As a Registered Nurse (Adult) you'll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Stafford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this position you will be working as a night nurse in a full-time capacity, this will include working shifts patterns of 7 nights on and 7 nights off. There is a requirement for a day shift on rotation for ongoing professional development and support. The role will include IV administration of medication, administration of controlled drugs, palliative care including syringe drivers, managing complex patients working alongside a paramedic in response to attending emergencies. We welcome nurses from all areas to apply; however, these skills are heavily desired.
