We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Fostering Team Manager in our Bromsgrove Team (West Midlands area and part of the Midlands Region) who will inspire and lead a team of dedicated, skilled staff and carers who are passionate about providing children and young people with the opportunity to flourish and fulfil their true potential. As a Team Manager, you will work closely with our Service Manager to help shape, influence, and implement the future growth of this service. You will be supporting the Service Manager by managing a team, so someone with strong leadership qualities and a passion for improving outcomes for children is desirable for this role; you must be registered with Social Work England and either hold a Management or Leadership qualification or be prepared to undertake training on this. Part of your role as Team Manager will be Fostering Panel Advisor, so a keen eye for detail will be essential. At our Midlands Service, there are some requirements to travel on occasion, especially for our Operational Area Manager Meetings and Carer Events. Monday to Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm, and Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm, although some flexibility will be required.
