We are actively looking for a CAD Technician (or Trainee) to join our client, who is a leading specialist in concrete products based in the Wiltshire area.
This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person who will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects throughout the UK, consisting of structural precast concrete components and bespoke concrete products.

Key Duties:
1. To work as a member of the design team and support the company as a whole.
2. To produce general arrangement, mould reinforcement and detail drawings in line with company procedures using Auto CAD.
3. Undertake and track necessary revisions to drawings based upon comments received.
4. Report any deviation from the accepted quotation or contract to the sales manager in a timely manner.
5. Maintain and file all drawings in line with company procedure.
6. To take off quantities from the architectural and structural drawings to assist the estimating department when required.
7. To assist with the enquiries from customers.
8. Liaising with external consultants when required.
9. To undertake any other work as deemed necessary.
Experience Requirements:
1. IT skills - in particular MS Office, Outlook & Internet - Essential
2. Organised, proactive and efficient, used to working with minimum supervision - Essential
3. Ability to prioritise simultaneous activities within challenging timescales - Essential
4. A good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or similar for the production of drawings - Desirable but not essential as training can be provided
5. Good understanding of the construction industry - Desirable
Pay:
£24k - £30k (Experience depending)
Hours:
Full Time Permanent Role, Mon-Thurs 08.00 - 17.00, Fri - 08.00 - 16.00
