We're on the hunt for a Business Reporting Manager to join our Business Delivery Team This is an essential role for our business where you'll be responsible for providing support to the Business Delivery Team and assisting in ensuring that there is contractual compliance between TransPennine Express and the Secretary of State for Transport. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, managing and reporting on the compliance of the contract which will include daily and weekly reporting on various focuses relevant to your role as a Business Reporting Manager. Working with colleagues across the business to identify, develop and implement contract compliance risk mitigations. You will be a point of contact for engagement with Rail North Partnership (RNP - our contract client body) and the Department for Transport (DfT), providing professional, timely and quality requests for relevant authorities and coordinating quality and accurate responses to inbound requests for information. Additionally, the Business Delivery Team are responsible for the production of Periodic Scorecards for various business areas. This is an exciting opportunity to interact with every department across the business, providing you with a better understanding of what the different teams do, how each team is managing risks to our delivery, as well as the successes they have achieved. By gaining a holistic view of how the business operates, you will assist the team in populating this information into high quality reporting, helping TransPennine Express achieve the best performance scores possible. You will identify areas for improvement and make suggestions and recommendations on activity which would drive better performance. You will be comfortable working with colleagues at all levels and across all departments and be keen to understand how the business and the railway operates. We are also looking for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proficient skills in the production of spreadsheets, presentations, and other relevant document types. Previous experience in using SharePoint and other Office365 applications is desirable. Tenacity, strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise own workload. Attention to detail. Excellent inter-personal skills with proven ability to build and maintain successful networks and meaningful relationships and using those to influence outcomes. Confidence in challenging processes and standards, and a proven ability to establish new ways of working.
