Our client is a market leading retail business, based in Skelmersdale. This company really do put their employees at the heart of everything they do, and they are now looking for a talented HR Advisor to join the Head of HR in building a successful HR function.
Job Description
The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
* Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of policies and procedures
* Writing and implementing policies across employee lifecycle
* Dealing and advising on a wide range of ER cases including absence, conduct, capability and grievances
* Delivering training sessions on HR related topics
* Drafting up invites, outcomes and supporting with note taking where required
* Management of contracts and new starter paperwork including right to work documentation
* Analysing people data around attrition, recruitment and sickness
* Leading HR related projects
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Advisor will have:
* A proven track record within a similar role
* CIPD L5 or above (desirable)
* A strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident in managing a variety of employee relations cases
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
