As a Vocational Tutor, your role will be to offer young people and adults an overall learning experience that prepares them for the ability to function and progress successfully in adult and working life, also helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to complete their vocational qualification.
Responsibilities:
1. To deliver the Level 1 and 2 in Business Administration / Customer service.
2. Assess learners' work and provide timely feedback.
3. Plan individual learning to meet learner needs.
4. Observe learners within work placements against the qualification criteria.
5. Ensure lesson plans are prepared and linked to curriculum plans.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET).
3. A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
4. Assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent).
5. Prior experience in delivering vocational qualifications.
6. Experience in delivering employability sessions.
7. Work to deadlines; motivated and organised.
8. Full, clean UK Driving License.
