Job Overview
The Summer Programme Director is responsible for the successful planning, recruitment, and execution of an international summer programme. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive international student recruitment efforts while ensuring the seamless operation of the programme, including academic, logistical, and student experience elements.
Key Responsibilities
International Student Recruitment:
* Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to attract international students.
* Establish partnerships with international schools, and recruitment agencies.
* Coordinate marketing campaigns, digital outreach, and promotional events to increase programme visibility.
* Monitor and analyse enrollment trends to optimise recruitment efforts.
* Liaise with admissions and visa processing teams to support international applicants.
Programme Operations & Management:
* Oversee the planning and execution of all summer programme activities, ensuring a high-quality experience for students.
* Manage programme logistics, including accommodation, transportation, catering, and campus facilities.
* Recruit, train, and supervise programme staff, including academic instructors and student support teams.
* Develop and implement health, safety, and safeguarding policies for international students.
* Collaborate with faculty and guest lecturers to design engaging academic content and extracurricular activities.
* Monitor programme performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Experience in international student recruitment, admissions, or programme management.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and cross-cultural competency.
* Ability to manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Proficiency in digital marketing and CRM tools is an advantage.
* Experience working in high education, secondary education or summer school setting is desirable.
