Our client is looking for a Revenue Manager to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

Essential
•A good practical knowledge and understanding of the residential rental market as it operates in Wales including the recent legislation published by the Welsh Government.
•Experience of working in a credit control environment preferably to at least a supervisory level.
•Proven experience in a management role.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Good MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Responsibilities
•Managing the Income Administration and Credit Control functions providing direction, guidance and support to the 8 members of staff responsible for the processing and collection of individual resident care fees and other care related income.
•Management of the 280 rental properties to maximise rental income collection and occupancy including providing support to the Housing Rent Officer and Housing Administrator whilst ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
•Provide ongoing supervision and training to all direct reports ensuring bi-monthly 1 to 1 meetings, six monthly and annual performance reviews are carried out.
•Overseeing all Income Section staff providing advice and support on welfare and other staffing matters as required.
•Oversee the processing of information held within the Revenue System and Sales Ledger including monitoring of the dashboard items, the weekly invoice and direct debit process, amendments to charges and service user commencements and terminations.
•Monitor on a regular basis the balances on all service user accounts on the Revenue System and Sales Ledger reporting any matters of concern, particularly in relation to any potential bad debts, to the Head of Income and Planning.
•Ensure all credit control and administrative tasks are being carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
•Provide monthly reports on overall debt levels and other significant matters as they relate to income and property rental to the Head of Income and Planning, Head of Business Finance and the Chief Finance Officer.
•Oversee the processing of information held on the Housing System including the weekly charging process and any tenant and rent changes.
