We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen.
This role pays £25,000-£27,000 plus benefits.
Role Purpose
To provide proactive support to the centralised Business Development function, contributing to the growth and development of key client relationships, sales activity, and strategic initiatives. This is an entry-level commercial role offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders, clients, and industry events, with opportunities for long-term development within the organisation.
Accountability
* Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Business Development team.
* Support preparation for client meetings including research, presentation materials, and follow-ups.
* Attend client meetings and industry events as a representative of the business, supporting relationship building and lead generation efforts.
* Assist in the coordination and tracking of sales activity, including maintaining CRM systems, updating pipelines, and reporting on performance.
* Work collaboratively across departments (e.g. Marketing, Commercial, Operations) to align business development efforts with wider business goals.
* Assist in the planning and coordination of events, campaigns, and client engagement initiatives.
* Support the development of client-facing documentation such as proposals, capability statements, and case studies.
* Actively contribute ideas for improving BD processes, tools, and team effectiveness.
Essential:
* Educated to degree level (any discipline).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Confident and professional demeanour, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proactive and eager to learn, with a willingness to take initiative.
* Competent with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
