This role is ideal for a QS with experience in rail or civil engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career with a leading infrastructure contractor. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and within budget. You will play a key role in cost control, procurement, and contract administration, working within NEC contracts and framework agreements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the commercial management of rail and civil engineering projects. Support the administration of contracts in line with NEC contract principles. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial control. Assist with cost planning, forecasting, and reporting. Manage subcontractor accounts, procurement, and payments. Work within framework agreements to optimise project efficiency. Use client and contractor portals to manage documentation and communication. Contribute to the development of junior team members where required. About You: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment. Background in rail or civil engineering is highly desirable. Understanding of NEC contracts and framework agreements. Ability to work independently while supporting senior commercial staff.
