Job Description
1. Manage a growing portfolio of accounts clients, including main client contact
2. Manage preparation of company accounts and tax returns
3. Manage preparation of personal tax returns
4. Manage preparation of VAT returns
5. Other client services such as management accounts and forecasting
6. Training team members
7. Aid the senior management team in improving processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant Manager should have:
1. Senior or assistant manager with 5+ years of accounting experience
2. Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
3. Proven experience in a similar role within professional services
4. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent communication and organisational skills
9. Strong attention to detail
10. Excellent time management skills
11. Good written and technical skills

1. An estimated salary range of £40,000 - £45,000
2. Flexible working around core hours (10.30am - 4.00pm)
