The Football Association has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Experience Designer (Coaching).
As a key contributor to the Learning Experience team, the Learning Experience Designer will play a crucial role in designing and developing blended, engaging, and interactive learning experiences that align with the needs of football coaching and game insights. This individual will support the creation of high-quality learning solutions that integrate coaching philosophies and game insights to enhance the overall learning experience.
What will you be doing?
* Collaborate with the Learning Experience Leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design learning experiences that incorporate football coaching methodologies and game insights.
* Use game insights, player data, and coaching strategies to inform the development of engaging digital learning content tailored to the needs of football coaches and learners.
* Design and develop multimedia assets, including interactive videos, graphics, quizzes, and e-learning modules.
* Use a variety of digital tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite) to create interactive learning materials.
* Partner with the Learning Experience Leads and external agencies to deliver high-impact digital learning solutions.
* Work with stakeholders to ensure learning programs are successfully deployed, monitored, and continuously improved.
* Design flexible learning materials that can be repurposed across various formats and platforms.
* Execute additional tasks as required to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being.
* Complete a DBS check as part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of football coaching principles and game insights.
* In-depth knowledge of learning design principles and adult learning theories.
Experience:
* Proven experience in designing and developing digital learning content using e-learning authoring tools.
* Experience working with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs).
Skills:
* Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia software.
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Creative problem-solving skills.
Beneficial to have:
Knowledge:
* Familiarity with UEFA-led coaching initiatives.
* Knowledge of HTML, React, or other front-end development languages.
Experience:
* Experience working within a sporting organization or football association.
* Experience in video production and editing for learning materials.

* Ability to leverage user feedback and performance metrics.
* Ability to design adaptable and flexible learning materials.
