Eaton Syalon are working in partnership with an accountancy practice in Derby to recruit a Payroll Administrator. You'll be working in a dynamic and forward-thinking practice, providing exceptional service to clients across various sectors. You'll need to be dedicated and detail-oriented, and must have a want to join a busy payroll team where you will help support with the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payrolls for a variety of clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver end-to-end payroll services for a portfolio of clients
- Maintain excellent client relationships
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax, pensions, and
employment legislation
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Serve as a main point of contact for clients regarding payroll issues
- Statutory payments and pension contributions
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory payroll requirements, including
PAYE, National Insurance contributions, and pension contributions
- Prepare and review payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices to advise clients accordingly.
- Mitigate risk by identifying potential payroll errors or compliance issues and implementing corrective actions
- Support with the completion of payroll audits, both internal and external
Person Profile:
- Ideally from an accountancy practice or payroll bureau background
- Candidates who have 1-2 years experiencing processing end-to-end payroll in industry will still be considered
- Microsoft Excel skills must include Pivot tables & V look ups
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes, including PAYE, NI, pension contributions, and statutory payments
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls efficiently and meet deadlines
