They are seeking a Credit Controller to join the Accounting & Finance department, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finances of our retail company to ensure financial stability and efficient operation. Client Details Our client is a highly esteemed retail company that currently employs over 5,000 individuals across various locations. Description You will be responsible for: Manage and oversee the entire credit granting process Monitor and resolve billing and credit issues Evaluate customer's creditworthiness Create credit scoring models to predict risks Set up payment plans and ensure payments are received promptly Update account status records and collection efforts Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status Ensure compliance with regulations and adhere to company policies Profile A successful Credit Controller should have: A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role Solid understanding of lending procedures Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Job Offer If you are successful you will be entitled to: A competitive yearly salary of approximately £28,000, within a range of 10% above and below Generous holiday leave A supportive and professional working environment Opportunities for professional growth and development within the retail industry The chance to work in the bustling city of Blackburn
