Are you a Teaching Assistant who would like to specialise in supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)? Or do you have a background in youth work and want to support young people in education?
We are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Mentor in Romford to join this excellent SEN school and work within their special unit supporting students who are finding mainstream education difficult. This is a full time, starting as soon as possible with potential to become a permanent member of staff.

It is a school where young people's talents and abilities are nurtured and where they can develop their ambitions. Our aim is that all students should leave the school as highly qualified, confident and articulate young adults.
The school is equipped with an internal exclusion unit which caters for students who have been temporarily excluded from mainstream lessons. Students are taught and supported in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis and a plan is set for students re-integrating back in to mainstream school life.
