We are looking for Advanced Support Workers to help us fulfil lives at our Complex Supported Living service in York (YO32).
At Millennium Support, we specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex trauma on their journeys through life and in the community.

We will provide you with:
* £13.53 per hour!

As an Advanced Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to empower vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and Autism that may display behaviours that challenge and complex needs.
You will receive full training around Autism, forensic risk, trauma-informed support, and positive behavioural support. You will also receive dedicated and person-centred support from your Advanced Team Leader through regular supervisions and guidance on your development.

* Experience of working in a similar form of challenging environment (for example, in a similar complex support service, supporting someone with behaviours that challenge in your personal life, a hospital or secure setting, the prison service, in security, the military, etc.)

What the job involves, day to day:
* Supporting individuals with complex needs in a sensitive and person-centred way
* Working as part of a team (in a minimum 2:1 support ratio) to deliver a person-centred support plan.
* Documenting and maintaining accurate records of support.
* Supporting the People We Support to carry out their hobbies and interests in the community.
* Empowering the People We Support to gain life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and managing their finances, at home and in the community.
* Being responsible for administering medication.
* Supporting the People We Support in line with our core values.
