The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Repairs and Spares Project Manager within the Praetorian Series Production Integrated Project Team (IPT) engaging with European Workshare Partners and Customer.
What you will do as the Project Manager
1. Project Management of Production and Development repairs in line with the contractual Turn around Times or quoted timescales.
2. Manage Build Line Repairs, Recalls or Spares contracts and report at Pre business Project Performance Reviews as required
3. Liaising and Reporting to multiple stakeholders including BAES, WSPs PMs and Internal business departments
4. Managing Repairs process and metrics, making necessary improvements to the contractual TRTs
5. Coordinate Internal repair estimates in conjunction with relevant functions for commercial to quote to the customer
6. Generation and presentation of metric reports to the Purchaser at reviews and Supporting the Quality Reviews with the Customer & WSPs.
7. Ownership of the Project Warranty budgets, monitoring the expenditures and costs throughout the financial year
8. Consortium Point of contact for the Customer and Workshare Partners (WSPs) on all build line repairs
9. Support Workshare Partner reviews such as the PMG as appropriate
10. Review the Goods Receiving Metrics and provide input to the ED Delivery Guidance documentation
11. Provide cover and support for the Delivery PM, ensuring current forecasting and communication internally and externally
12. PM Management of Spares Contracts including presentation at PPRs
You really must have:
13. Project management skills, including the ability to manage key internal and external stakeholders, create project plans, and manage these effectively to meet deadlines.
14. Excellent communication and team working skills
15. Capability of working in multi-discipline teams but also on own initiative
16. Ability to prioritise a large quantity of tasks and to assign these effectively
17. Positive attitude, with good interpersonal skills and a focus on people
It would be nice if you had:
18. Degree or equivalent
19. APM Qualified
20. Experience of managing projects in SAP
21. Knowledge of Praetorian products and groups
22. Experience of working with BAES, European Partners
