As a HR Coordinator, you will manage day-to-day HR administrative duties to support the Compressors HR team. This role is perfect for someone with previous HR administrative experience who is eager to broaden their knowledge. This is a full-time hybrid position with flexible working hours.
The role:
* Work closely with the HR team to manage all pre-employment activities for new hires, including preparing documents, conducting reference checks, setting up new starters on HR systems, and coordinating IT equipment orders. Additionally, assist with offboarding procedures as needed.
* Ensure the accurate maintenance of employee data in HR systems, keeping information up to date and compliant with company standards
* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, suggesting and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Provide administrative support to the HR Business partner for acquisitions, helping to integrate new employees in the organisation
* Process invoices and raise purchase orders
* Leading and delivering comprehensive HR induction sessions for new employees
* Handling the input and processing of monthly payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements for all employees
* Managing and updating key HR metrics, including headcount and employee sickness records on HR systems.
* Some travel between our UK and Ireland sites will be expected
To succeed you will need:
* Previous experience in HR
* Strong ability to prioritise tasks and stay organised
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to approach challenges with resilience and empathy
* Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management abilities
* Proficient in using computer systems and software
