The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting Year 6 students and helping them succeed in their learning. Role Details: · Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant (Year 6) · Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays · Hours: Morning sessions Classroom-based and Afternoon interventions Key Responsibilities: · Support the Year 6 class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and classroom management. · Work with pupils both individually and in small groups to enhance their learning. · Provide tailored interventions in the afternoons to support students in preparation for SATs and their transition to secondary school. · Assist in the development of differentiated learning resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of the students. Ideal Candidate: · Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. · Experience working with KS2 students, particularly in Year 6, is highly desirable. · Familiarity with the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation. · A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to helping children reach their potential. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
