Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting and coordinating on-site temporary activities within the network
Ensuring all activities comply with NRSWA and TMA regulations, statutory guidance, and codes of practice
Taking action and applying penalties where necessary to enforce controls
Promoting positive partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and private agencies
Preparing technical reports for members, partners, customers, and stakeholders
Reviewing processed applications for permits and proposing or imposing variations during on-site inspections
Managing, monitoring, and inspecting target sample inspections under the Code of Practice
Monitoring works promoter compliance under relevant sections of NRSWA and initiating justified actions for non-compliance
Inspecting and testing utility excavations and reinstatements to ensure adherence to Health and Safety and NRSWA specifications
Assessing and identifying necessary actions following site inspections
Job Requirements:
Experience in streetworks and understanding of NRSWA regulations
Excellent knowledge of statutory guidance and codes of practice related to streetworks
Strong skills in preparing and presenting technical reports
Ability to promote cooperative working relationships with multiple stakeholders
Proficiency in managing and monitoring compliance and performance management processes
Attention to detail, especially in enforcing Health and Safety standards
