We're partnered with an award-winning, legal 500 ranked law firm who are looking for a Property Litigation Paralegal to assist solicitors with their work as well as build their own caseload. This role is the perfect opportunity to progress a career in one of the largest property litigation and housing management teams and gain excellent exposure to a broad range of matters such as possession proceedings based on rent arrears, anti-social behaviour and unauthorised occupiers and injunction proceedings.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide support to solicitors and fee earners in the day-to-day management of case files.
* Draft and prepare legal documents, including claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements for County Court proceedings, ensuring timely preparation.
* Manage multiple case deadlines efficiently and effectively.
* Compile and organise trial bundles for court proceedings.
* Coordinate with the Court prior to trials to ensure all required paperwork is submitted and received, following up on any missing or delayed documents.
* Attend court to assist barristers and fee earners as needed.
* Conduct advocacy in the County Court for routine matters.
* Respond to inquiries from clients, barristers, and fee earners, and follow up on outstanding paperwork as necessary.
* Maintain organised and accurate case files in both digital and physical formats.
* Occasionally undertake site visits related to cases.
* Meet performance targets set by the Line Manager.
* Adhere to department procedures, the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules, and firm policies as outlined in the Office Manual.
