We are looking for a Senior Planning & Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary from £58,693 to £71,634 along with a market-leading benefits package.

Here's what you'll be doing
As a Senior Planning & Reporting Analyst, you will support the delivery of monthly finance performance processes that provide comprehensive insight on the E.ON Next position to drive performance. You will maintain an effective financial control environment through the use of systems, processes and people. Additionally, you'll champion the digitalization of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and consolidating business forecasts to be presented to the Executive Leadership team, providing essential guidance for the E.ON Next business.
* Supporting the consolidation of monthly results by delivering timely, detailed, and meaningful insights to understand business performance, while adopting a partner/challenger role.
* Coordinating and consolidating information requests from the UK energy regulator.
* Taking ownership of monthly and quarterly reporting at Board and Executive levels.
* Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) linked to company strategy, driving positive actions and outcomes.
* Collaborating extensively with team members, establishing strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the E.ON Next Finance team and Central Planning and Reporting team.
* Accelerating digitalization and innovation to ensure high data quality, driving process improvement, and providing and maintaining the right systems and tools for value-added reporting support.
* Actively participating in cross-team initiatives that contribute to achieving team goals and objectives.
What we need from you
* Relevant Accountancy Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) – with post-qualification experience.
* Ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels, with strong orientation to supporting customers and stakeholders. Demonstrate a passion for the business.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format. Very high levels of financial and commercial acumen.
* Demonstrable success in delivering and improving core finance processes - management accounting, forecasting and reporting.
* Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.
* The ability to consistently support decision-makers and produce high-quality work to tight deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change.
* An innovative approach, driving imaginative solutions to problems and capable of challenging conventional business thinking.
