Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to join our innovative Cancer Psychological Support (CaPS) Team, based at St George's Hospital (SGH). Main duties of the job We are looking for an senior clinical/counselling psychologist with experience of working clinically in the field ofcancer and/or physical health settings within the NHS for at least 12 to 18 months post-qualification. The role will involve direct clinical work individually, with carers, couples/families and group work (including workshops and facilitated structured group courses). We are looking for someone with training and experience in clinical supervision of psychology staff. The post holder will also be involved in indirect advice and consultation to a range of non-psychology health care professionals within and outside SGH, including teaching, training and supervision.
