Eaton House Schools has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-orientated Finance Manager to join our Support Staff team from March/April 2025. You will lead a team of three and will report to the Bursar, supporting with the delivery of the school’s financial and operational objectives. The successful applicant with have an indirect report to the Principal and Group FD.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has experience heading up a school finance department and has completed their ACCA or CIMA qualification.
As a qualified accountant, you will have well-developed skills in managing all different aspects of financial operations and possess a nurturing and motivational leadership style. You will demonstrate excellent technical accounting knowledge and be experienced in preparing for and leading through the audit process. You will additionally possess experience of monthly management accounting duties and the management of assets and estates, as well as budgeting and forecasting and closely monitoring cashflow. Your skills will include liaison with senior stakeholders and the ability to prepare reports for the board. The role requires someone who has the ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
With great customer service skills and strong attention to detail, the ideal candidate will possess the organisational skills and the ability to manage various tasks and projects. In addition to this; a positive, flexible approach to work and duties, and the ability to deliver consistent quality and reliability through their methodical approach to work.
The working hours for this role are 8:00am to 5:00pm.
