Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outreach, prospecting, and appointment setting to drive business growth and partnership opportunities. You will be a key player in the sales pipeline, identifying potential partners, booking meetings, and working closely with both the sales and partnerships teams to accelerate deal flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation:
• Identify and research potential business partners and key decision-makers.
• Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other digital channels.
• Initiate conversations to generate interest and qualify leads for partnerships and sales.
Appointment Setting for Partnerships & Sales:
• Engage with potential partners and clients to schedule high-quality meetings.
• Work alongside the Partnerships and Sales teams to ensure a seamless booking process.
• Follow up with prospects to confirm interest and prepare them for scheduled meetings.
Collaboration & Sales Pipeline Management:
• Work closely with the Sales and Partnerships teams to align outreach strategies.
• Provide detailed notes and insights on prospects to optimize sales conversions.
• Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads to Sales Executives and Partnerships Managers.
CRM & Performance Tracking:
• Maintain accurate and updated records of outreach activities and lead progress in CRM.
• Track key performance metrics such as response rates, booked meetings, and conversion rates.
• Continuously optimize outreach and appointment-setting strategies based on performance data.
Ideal Candidate Profile
🎯 Experience & Skills:
• 1-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or partnership outreach.
• Proven ability in outbound prospecting and appointment setting.
• IT literate with experience using CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and digital prospecting platforms.
• Social-savvy – experienced in leveraging LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms for business development.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade decision-makers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and partnerships teams.
