Commissioning Engineer
Location: Nationwide - Commutable to Milton Keynes (Within two hours)

Role Overview:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and technical support of variable speed drives across a wide range of sites throughout the UK. You will play a critical role in ensuring that systems are set up, tested, and optimized for performance. This role requires extensive travel across the country, with the flexibility to work remotely in between assignments, but you must be commutable to Milton Keynes for occasional meetings and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commission and test variable speed drives (VSDs) and associated control systems at customer sites.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation or commissioning phases.
* Provide training and technical support to customers on-site to ensure they can operate systems effectively.
* Perform system configurations and adjustments to optimize system performance.
* Maintain accurate and detailed reports on commissioning activities and outcomes.
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and regulations.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer or similar role, ideally with variable speed drives or automation systems.
* Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with experience in control systems and drive technology.
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK, with flexibility to work away from home when required.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.
* Must be commutable to Milton Keynes for occasional site meetings and coordination.
* Competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
