GSL Education is currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Plymouth. Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students in various classroom settings.
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials to support diverse learning needs.
Encourage student participation, engagement, and independence in the classroom.
Support children with SEN, behavioural challenges, or additional learning needs.
Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and school activities to ensure their safety.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to support student development.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable but not essential.
A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly in different schools and year groups.
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
