Central Hire Desk Controller - Plant Hire
Location: West Midlands
Package: £26k-£33k + Bonus, Pension, Life Insurance, Discretionary Company Performance Bonus.

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a Central Hire Desk Controller. All design and manufacture for the provision of modular and bespoke excavation support systems are done in-house. Central Hire Desk Controller Responsibilities:
1. Deal with all enquiries for national key accounts.
2. Calculate and supply quotes and work with local depots to plan transport (deliveries & collections).
3. Manage damages, calculate costs and liaise with customers regarding payment.
4. Work jointly with all departments ensuring a high level of customer service.
5. Provide guidance to customers on equipment and resolve issues.
6. Build customer relationships to retain business.
7. Occasionally visit customers with an account manager to help develop and grow business.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in a Hire Desk role.
* Knowledge of Plant Hire equipment and the sales process (e.g., On-Hires/Off-Hires).
* Confidence in visiting customers when needed.
* IT literate and organised, ensuring all paperwork is coordinated.
* Able to build and develop relationships with customers.
* Must have a full driving licence.
