Responsibilities:
• Weekly forecast of the Freight costs by Division and by Lane.
• Updating the freight reconciliation document to reflect costs using the various freight portals.
• Liaising with the relevant stakeholders, to ensure accuracy of data.
• Work together with the Management Accountant, or AFC to provide detailed analysis to the divisions, allowing them to better understand and control their costs.
• Undertaking the Month End Process for Freight & Postage, ensuring minimal variances to forecast and ensuring a process of continuous improvement.
• Liaising with freight forwarders/Couriers as necessary.
• Improving processes as well as reporting to support business decisions.
• Review the balance sheets on a monthly basis,
Requirements:
1. Advanced Excel user.
2. Good team player, able to work as part of a team, as well as on their own.
3. Good communication skills
4. Comfortable presenting data to Divisional teams.
