An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Assistant Practitioner to join our occupational therapy team within Cameron Hospital. The main role of this post will be assessing and delivering rehabilitation to the 3 wards within Cameron.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team you will be expected to assess and carry out ongoing treatment programmes and joint treatments with the Occupational Therapy staff. You will have good organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within the team.
You will need an HND in a health-related subject/SCQF level 8 or SVQ 3/HNC plus evidence of experience working within health and/or social care and managing a delegated caseload. Experience of working as an Occupational Therapy support worker would be desirable. It would also be desirable to have experience working with older people and stroke patients. Our service offers regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities.
You may be required to work across Fife, therefore the ability to travel is essential.
