Location: Scotstoun
Contract Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £22 PAYE or £28.60 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: Hybrid working: 3-4 days per week

Join BAE Systems as a Supply Chain Lead – Contracts Manager within the Type 26 programme. You will manage procurement packages for Raw Materials and Commodities, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee procurement contracts and supplier relationships.
* Manage budgets, schedules, and contract changes.
* Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality standards.
* Negotiate contracts and resolve supplier disputes.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Experience of contract management in a Supply Chain environment in defence or similar industry e.g. automotive, aerospace
* Demonstrable knowledge of Contract Management best practice
* Working knowledge of the legal environment related to purchasing contracts and framework agreements
* Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Financial acumen and risk management expertise.
* CIPS qualification or equivalent preferred.
